As part of the activities to mark the 78th United Nations (UN) Day Celebration and Flag-Raising Ceremony, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration has organised a health walk on Saturday, 21 October 2023 in Accra.
The health walk, which started from the Forecourt of the State House through the Accra Rehabilitation Centre, Black Star Square to the State House, attracted members of the diplomatic community, and the security services including the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) to whip up public interest and awareness of the upcoming 78th UN Day anniversary.
A representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Mr Jedidiah Adogla expressed his profound gratitude to all who committed to the success of the health walk. He appreciated the members of the planning committee for the line-up of activities.
The 78th UN Day celebration would be commemorated on Tuesday 24 October, 2023 at the forecourt of the State House under the theme: “Accelerating Action Towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the 2030 Agenda; Ghana’s Contributions for a peaceful prosperous, progressive and sustainable future”. The occasion would be jointly organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Regional Integration, the UN Office in Ghana and the Security Services.
