The Commanding Officer (CO), of the First Ghanaian Battalion of the United Nations Interim Security Force for Abyei (UNISFA GH1), Colonel (Col) Kojo Aboagye Tieku has donated some items to Duala Medical Centre, Burma Camp on behalf of the Battalion. The items which were donated on Thursday, July 6 2023 included, two pieces each of air conditioners, ceiling fan, swivel chair, and a water dispenser as well as table set. Col A Tieku indicated that the donation was to support the efforts of the Medical Centre in providing quality healthcare services to Officers, Soldiers, Defence Civilian Staff, and Civilians alike. The Station Medical Officer (SMO), Dr Ewura Adjoa Nunoo was grateful for the gesture from UNISFA GH1 and stated that the donation would boost the efforts of the Centre in delivering efficient healthcare services. SMO reassured that the Medical Centre remains dedicated to delivering efficient healthcare services to all and sundry and was optimistic this gesture will inspire others to support the improvement of healthcare services at the Medical Centre.
