The COAS who was the Guest of Honour described the event as a testament to the Government’s commitment to enhancing the capacity and readiness of personnel at the Jungle Warfare School (JWS), for their critical roles in training and safeguarding the nation. Major General Onwona Kwasi Bismarck, thanked the Minister of Communications and Digitalisation, Mrs Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Ankobra West Rural Bank, Queen Mother of Achiase Nana Darkoa II, the Chiefs and people of Akim Achiase for funding the projects. He entreated personnel to take good care of the facilities and presented cash amount of Twenty Thousand Ghana Cedi’s (20,000) to support ongoing infrastructural development. The projects include an armoury, quartermaster’s office, weapon cleaning site, laboratory, female ward and officers' mess kitchen were funded by the Minister of Communications and Digitalisation Honorable Mrs Ursula Owusu-Ekuful. The Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), Major General Onwona kwasi Bismarck, has commissioned projects at the Jungle Warfare School (JWS) in the Eastern Region on Wednesday 27 November 2024.
