The four-day Influence Awareness Subject Matter Expert Exchange (SMEE) 2025, a collaboration between the United States Southern European Task Force Africa (SETAF-AF) and the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF), ended on Friday 31 January 2025. The programme focused on exchanging best practices to build resilience against malicious information targeting military personnel and the general public. It covered public perception challenges, engagement with local communities and simulated practical demonstrations on media inquiry responses, crisis response exercises, public affairs planning and crisis communication execution. She added that the programme has enhanced the technical and critical thinking skills of participants in Public Relations in managing and disseminating information. She also congratulated all participants and encouraged them to apply the acquired knowledge in their endeavours. In her closing remarks, Deputy Director General (DDG) of the Department of Public Relations, Captain (GN) Veronica Adzo Arhin, on behalf of the Director General (DG) of Public Relations, Brigadier General Eric Aggrey-Quashie, expressed appreciation to the facilitators for imparting and exchanging knowledge.
