The Chief of the Defence Staff, Lieutenant General Thomas Oppong-Peprah with the National Security Coordinator, Mr Edward Asomani has led a delegation to pay a working visit to Coordonnateur du Renseignement, Prefet Vassiriki and the Chief of the Defence Staff of Ivory Coast, General Lassina Doumbia, in Abidjan on Sunday11 August, 2024. The visit aimed to strengthen the relations between the two countries. Lieutenant General Oppong-Peprah (CDS) in his remarks noted the two countries' readiness to work in order to ensure the safe environment of the region. Prefet Vassiriki in his remarks, posited the visit of the delegation from Accra to Abidjan as a sign of good comradeship. He then reiterated the need to collaborate more in the fields of intelligence, training and other military operations.
