The General Officer Commanding Central Command, Brigadier General Charles Agyemang-Prempeh has handed over Command to Brig Gen Michael Opoku on Thursday 28 March, 2024. Brig Gen Agyemang-Prempeh in his remarks, thanked the Staff Officers, Soldiers and Defence Civilian Staff for their immense support during his tenure as GOC. He urged them to extend the same level of cooperation to the new GOC, adding that they should be professional in the discharge of their duties. Prior to the signing of certificate and exchange of Unit Flag, the outgoing GOC, Brig Gen Charles Agyemang-Prempeh inspected a Guard of Honour mounted in his honour. 
The event which took place in a short ceremony held at his office, witnessed the signing of certificate and exchange of Unit Flag.
