4 Garrison has held its fourth quarter religious parade and thanksgiving service at the Garrison Methodist and Presbyterian Church, Uaddara Barracks, Kumasi on Sunday 24 November 2024.

Preaching on the theme "Guardians of Peace: The Role of a Soldier in Nation Building.", the Director of Army Religious Affairs (DARA), Colonel Peter Nyarko Duodo, along with Garrison Imam Captain Mohammed Yussif, emphasised the importance of peace both at home and in the workplace, urging personnel to show compassion towards others.

The clergy called for intercessory prayers to be offered for security personnel and the country ahead of the upcoming general elections.

The Command Operations Officer Colonel Henry Ansah-Akrofi, speaking on behalf of  the General Officer Commanding Central Command Brigadier General Michael Kwadwo Opoku, expressed gratitude to God for his protection over the Garrison.

He encouraged personnel to maintain neutrality and uphold professionalism and dedication to duty during the forthcoming elections.
