The Commanding Officer, Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) Headquarters Camp, Lieutenant Colonel (Lt Col) Kingsley Birikorang has handed over office to Lt Col James Palmer during a handing and taking over ceremony on Friday, 12 September 2025, at the TRADOC, Teshie.

The Guest of Honour, Deputy Commandant TRADOC, Air Commodore Edward Gyamfi, described the change of office as a vital military tradition that ensures continuity of leadership, stability and effectiveness of office.

He commended Lt Col Birikorang for his exceptional leadership and highlighted on his achievements in operational readiness, training, administration and troop welfare.

Air Commodore Gyamfi welcomed the incoming Commanding Officer, Lt Col Palmer, and reminded him of his new role as both an honour and responsibility requiring service, sacrifice and accountability.

In his farewell remarks, Lt Col Birikorang expressed gratitude to the Military High Command for the confidence reposed in him, and thanked personnel of TRADOC for their loyalty and dedication, urging them to continue to support the new Commanding Officer.
