The Veteran Administration–Ghana (VAG), Kakasunanka District  has held its annual get together at the VAG Premises in Michel Camp on Saturday 17 February, 2024.

District Chairman of the Veteran Administration Ex-Wo1 Justice Kofi Tamakloe in a welcome address expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Commanding Officer, 1 Infantry Battalion, Lieutenant Colonel Dominic Ampomah, the Commander Rear, Lieutenant Colonel Frank Adams, members of VAG-Kakasunanka District, and their spouses for the numerous contributions and commitments to the success of the ongoing Office project.

Ex-Wo1 J K Tamakloe further expressed optimism for peaceful coexistence among veterans, service personnel and the communities with regards to security and the development.

The Guest of Honour, Lt Col Frank Adams appreciated the cooperation between the Veterans. He revealed that he takes consolation when he sees the veterans looking healthy, strong and still staying committed to the Ghana Armed Forces.

Lt Col Adams expressed his gratitude for all their tireless efforts throughout the years they served the Armed Forces, stating that it was through their sacrifices that the Armed Force has thrived.

Awards were presented to Ex-Warrant Officers Gideon Agbeyivor, Peter William Ward, Sampson Richard Agyedu, Anthony Kwasi Boateng, Ayisi, and Ex- Staff Sergeant Matthew Bour for their exceptional contribution to the development of the Administration.
