The United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) Ghanaian Battalion (GHANBATT) 11, and their Mongolian counterpart have honoured the gallant service men who paid the ultimate price in pursuit of global peace. Both battalions formed a colourful parade at the UNMISS GHANBATT Headquarters that saw the hoisting of flags and laying of wreaths among other formalities on Saturday, 11 November 2023. Present at the ceremony were the Acting Head of Field Office, Madam Jane Kony, Commanding Officer MONBATT, Colonel Olumbayid and the Chief of Staff Lieutenant Colonel Praphat Singh Rana and various Staff Officers from the Sector Headquarters
