TRADOC ORGANIZES CONFERENCE FOR COMMANDING OFFICERS AND OFFICERS-IN- CHARGE

The Ghana Armed Forces Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) held a conference for Commanding Officers (COs)and Officers- In-Charge (OICs) of the various training schools under its command on Tuesday 4 February 2025.

The conference which was held at the TRADOC conference hall, covered topics such as the Audit Process and Responsibilities of Internal Audit Directorate, Effective Management and Man Management.  It brought together resource persons from the General Headquarters who shared knowledge, expertise and best practices with the participants.

The Guest of Honour, the Assistant Commandant Tri-Service Training Schools, Air Commodore Giveres Wienaa called on participants to foster team work. He stated that the aim of the conference was to iron out some administrative and operational challenges in the various training schools.

He said such conferences were organised periodically for COs and OICs to be abreast with modern trends in balancing their annual finances and also manage resources effectively in order to achieve excellence.

Air Commodore Wienaa, emphasised that the conference would also offers participants the opportunity to foster positive culture by promoting a positive inclusive culture that encourages teamwork, innovation and continuous improvement.  

Notable resource persons at the conference include the Deputy Director Manpower at the General Headquarters, Commander Kirth Nkrumah, the Director of Audit at the General Headquarters, Colonel Rowland Yao Deegbe and Lieutenant Colonel Joseph Zigah.

The conference was graced by the Commandant TRADOCC Rear Admiral Eric Adu and some other senior officers from the General Headquarters.
