SERVICE CHIEFS PLEDGE LOYALTY TO CDS

The three Service Chiefs of the Ghana Armed Forces pledged their loyalty and confidence in the leadership of the Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS), Lieutenant General (Lt Gen) Thomas Oppong-Peprah on Thursday 15 February, 2024.

They made the pronouncements when the CDS paid his maiden visit to the three service Headquarters in Burma Camp to officially introduce himself, his Chief of Staff and Deputy Chiefs of Staff to the Service Commanders and personnel.

He emphasised that his administration would rely on the enhanced synergy, teamwork, dedication and professionalism amongst the services. He therefore called for the collective efforts of personnel at all levels to advance the cause of the Ghana Armed Forces. 

Lt Gen Oppong-Peprah also used the opportunity to thank the Service Chiefs for their goodwill messages and the confidence reposed in him.

The CDS was accompanied by the Chief of Staff, Major General JP Osei-Owusu, Deputy Chief of Staff (DCOS) Maj Gen DYA Nyarko, DCOS Administration, Air Vice Admiral Michael Appiah Agyekum and DCOS Logistics, Rear Admiral S Agyenim.
