The educational visit was aimed at introducing the students to the operations of the Regiment and educate them on the artillery capabilities of the Ghana Armed Forces. As part of the visit, the students received lectures on the history, organisation and role of the Regiment, delivered by Captain Ebenezer Kwadwo Larbi Addo. He further briefed them on operational functions and the Regiment’s weapon systems. The students were introduced to various artillery platforms including the 105mm Howitzer, 122mm Mantruck, and both the 107mm and 122mm Multiple Rocket Launcher Systems. A practical display of the respective guns was conducted to provide the students with hands-on insight into the equipment and its operational use. Students of the Seaman Gunner First Class Qualification Course 1-2025 from the Naval Training Command have undertaken a study visit to the 66 Artillery Regiment in Ho on Wednesday 16 July 2025.
