The Management of Oyerepa FM, a radio station based at Adum-Kumasi, has donated a cash amount of Fifty Thousand Ghana Cedis (GH₵50,000.00) to Miss Sarah Asare a patient at the 37 Military Hospital on Monday, 13 November 2023. The Producer of the Oyerepa Afutuo Show, who doubled as the leader of the delegation, Mr Sampson Osei presented the cash to the patient at the Surgical Out Patient Department (SOPD) to enable her undergo leg surgery. The Officer-in-Charge of Orthopaedic and Trauma Division of the 37 Military Hospital, Lieutenant Colonel (Dr) Delali Adzigbli on behalf of the Commander 37 Military Hospital, Brigadier Genweral Prosper Ayibor thanked Oyerepa FM and the “Oyerepa Afutuo” programme crew especially the show host Aunty Naa for their benevolence. He stated that after the surgery the patient would need physiotherapy, medication and review hence, appealed to benefactors to assist in that regard. The patient together with the delegation made a payment to the Pay Office of the hospital and receipt was issued in the name of the patient. Present at the occasion were the Chief Nursing Officer Clinical, Col Patience Owusu Aidoo and Oyerepa Afutuo crew member Emmanuel Harry Smith.
