Major General (Maj Gen) Peter Nicholas Andoh has handed over his responsibility as the Chief of Staff (COS) of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) to Maj Gen Joseph Prince Osei-Owusu, on Monday 19 February 2024. He applauded the former Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS), Vice Admiral Seth Amoama whose decent leadership provided a conducive environment for the discharge of his duties. He also stated that the former CDS enabled a harmonious and perfect working relationship which facilitated the success he accomplished in GAF. Maj Gen Andoh expressed gratitude to the Service Chiefs, his Deputy in charge of Administration Air Vice Marshal Michael Appiah-Agyekum, various Directors General and Directors who helped him in diverse ways in the discharge of his mandate; adding that GAF would move forward through the cultivation of the habit of respect. He encouraged everyone to throw their weight behind his successor so that his plans and aspiration for the service would materialise.
