The General Officer Commanding (GOC) Central Command, Brigadier General (Brig Gen) Albert Sison Ogaja has cut sod for the construction of a new Audit and Finance Office Complex at Idris Barracks, Kumasi on Monday, 1 September 2025. Brig Gen Ogaja urged the contractor to work diligently to ensure timely completion. He also encouraged the contractor to promptly notify him of any challenges that may arise during the construction process. The Principal Works Superintendent 494 Engineers Squadron, Mr Joseph Arko-Mensah stated that the facility will consist of five offices, each with its own washroom, as well as six additional washrooms. The project is expected to be completed within two months.
