The United States Army Global Health Engagements (GHE), Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF) has visited the Ghana Military Academy (GMA) at Whistler Barracks, Teshie on Wednesday 5 February 2025. The visit aimed to discuss medical exchange training programmes for the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) military health professionals to enhance combat treatment capabilities and strengthen bilateral relationships. Lieutenant Commander Dr James Emmanuel Kwegyir Aggrey-Orleans discussed the Academy's Tactical Combat Casualty Care and Advance Trauma Life Support programmes, which he said was geared towards equipping cadets and troops with necessary skills. The team comprised of the Director GHE and Clinical Readiness for Landstuhl Regional Medical Centre (LRMC), SETAF-AF Colonel Claude Burnett, Chief GHE SETAF-AF, Colonel Kelly Togiola, Dental Officer In Charge GHE SETAF-AF, Lieutenant Colonel Ryan Allred, Trauma Medical Director GHE SETAF-AF, Lieutenant Colonel Mary Stuever, Non-Commission Officer in Charge (NCOIC) of Clinical Services, GHE SETAF-AF, Master Sergeant Tatiana Mason and Global Health Coordinator, Medical Readiness Command SETAF- AF Dr John Casey.
