Participants of the Ghana Armed Forces Public Relations Institute (GAFPRI) Basic Journalism, and Advance Photography Course 1-25 have undertaken a two-day study tour from 4 to 5 September 2025. The study tour, which included visits to Channel One TV, Graphic Communications Group and the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, sought to expose students to concepts and practices, different environments and work settings within the media landscape. The General Manager of Channel One TV, Mr Bernard Koku Avle described the visit to Omni Media Limited as a giant step in advancing collaborations between the media and the military. He stated that such visits enforced civil military relations. He encouraged students to form close relationships with the civil media since the military and the media work towards nation building. The Chief Editor, Graphic Communications Group Limited, Mr Theophilus Yartey took students through the stages of production of the various newspapers and subsequently, called for continuous collaborations between Graphic and the military.
