The Commandant of the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College (GAFCSC), Major General (Maj Gen) Matthew Essien, has visited the Family Health University College (FHUC) on Tuesday 13 August, 2024. During the interaction with the President of FHUC, Maj Gen Essien expressed gratitude for the warm reception and officially invited the institution to the Senior Command and Staff Course 45 graduation ceremony, scheduled for Friday 23 August, 2024. He also took the opportunity to inform them about the various master's and PhD programs offered at GAFCSC, encouraging their participation to enhance and strengthen the cordial relationship between the two institutions. In his remarks, the President of the University, Prof. Enyonam Kwawukume, expressed appreciation for the delegation's significant and noteworthy visit. He praised the college for its dedication to professionalism, suggesting that if other institutions in the country could replicate the level of discipline instilled by GAFCSC, it would greatly enhance discipline across the nation. The Registrar of the University, Mrs Rita Kaine, highlighted some of the programmes offered at FHUC, including Basic Midwifery and Nursing. She encouraged soldiers with relevant qualifications to consider enrolling in these programmes.
