The Chief of Staff (COS) at the General Headquarters, Major General (Maj Gen) Nicholas Peter Andoh has led a delegation from the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) to commiserate with a former President of Ghana, His Excellency (HE) John Agyekum Kufuor on the loss of his wife. The delegation visited the residence of the second President of the fourth Republic of Ghana on Thursday, 5 October 2023 at Peduase in the Eastern Region. Maj Gen Andoh, on behalf of GAF, expressed his deepest condolences to former President Kuffour and his family on the loss and assured him that GAF will render its support during the funeral rites of the former First Lady, Mrs Theresa Kufuor. HE Kufuor thanked the Military High Command for the heartwarming message and mentioned that he was proud of the military for mourning with him in this difficult time. The visit was climaxed with the signing of the book of condolence by COS to express the sympathy and concern of the Military High Command to the bereaved family during for their loss.
