GAF MEDICAL CORPS ASSURES CDS OF COMMITMENT

A delegation from the Armed Forces Medical Services Corps led by the Deputy Chief Officer Staff (Medical), Major General Raymond Ewusi paid a visit to the confer with the Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS), Lieutenant General Thomas Oppong-Peprah at the General Headquarters on Thursday 22 February, 2024.

They visit was aimed at expressing appreciation of the Corps to Command for the expansion of the corps as part of the ongoing expansion drive in the Armed Forces. “The medical corps has received promotion for 1 Major General, 4 Brigadier Generals and 2 Commodores as it is a significant milestone” Maj Gen Ewusi revealed.

The Deputy Chief of Staff affirmed the support of the Corps for the operationalization of the Duala Medical Project. He also assured the CDS of their commitment to lead and serve the Armed Forces professionally and diligently in support of Command’s greater mission accomplishment. Major Gen Ewusi thanked the CDS for his assistance in the retooling and equipping of the various medical facilities in the country.

 The CDS appreciated them for the essential services rendered to personnel of the Armed Forces and their families. He charged them to support him to advance the cause of the Armed Forces by prioritizing the welfare needs of personnel.
