The family of late Brigadier General (Brig Gen) Paul Kwabena Opoku (Rtd) has formally announced his demise to the Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS), Vice Admiral Seth Amoama at his office, Burma Camp on Tuesday 19 December, 2023 The family lead by the Deputy Chief of Staff (Logistics), Brig Gen Kenneth Kweku Kwaah Kumi, expressed their appreciation to the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) for the support and care given to their father since he was admitted at the 37 Military Hospital until his demise. They also briefed the Military High Command on the arrangements for the final funeral rites and burial. Vice Admiral Amoama expressed his condolence to the family. He described the late senior officer as s diligent and selfless officer who was dedicated to the various appointments he held in the service. He assured them that the Military High Command would give the necessary support for a befitting burial.
