Czech entrepreneurs have paid a courtesy call on the Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS), Vice Admiral Seth Amoama in Burma Camp on Thursday, 9 November 2023. Leader of the business delegation, the National Security Advisor to the Government of Czech Republic, Mr Tomas Pojar told Vice Admiral Amoama that the visit of the entrepreneurs was made possible by the Prime Minister of Czech Republic, Petr Fiala, who visited earlier and pledged to support Ghana and her Armed Forces. Vice Admiral Amoama acknowledged the bilateral relations between both countries. He was optimistic the relationship would enable GAF discharge her duties effectively. The CDS hinted that piracy, terrorism coupled with coup d’états were the major security threats confronting West Africa, leading to the creation of the Accra Initiative Programme and support of the European Union in curbing the menace.
