The Brigade Commander Brigadier General (Brig Gen) Ben Gah has cut sod for the construction of the multipurpose 15 Armour Brigade Headquarters at the Liberation Barracks, Sunyani on 27 July, 2024. In his welcome address, the Commanding Officer (CO) of the Armour Training School (ATS) Lieutenant Colonel Abdul-Bashiru Issah who doubled as the 3 Garrison Commander, said the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the 15 Armour Brigade Headquarters in Sunyani marks a significant moment for the Armour Corps. He said the much-anticipated project was a testament to the Brigade’s hard work, shared vision and unwavering dedication to the progress which would positively impact the operations and administration of Units under the Brigade. On his part, the Brigade Commander, Brigadier General Ben Gah noted that the decision to have the Brigade Headquarters located in Sunyani was becoming a reality following the benevolence of some organisations especially the Middle Belt Development Authority the main financiers of the project. He further mentioned that friends of the ATS have also pledged several other items in support of the project.
