Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS) Lieutenant General (Lt Gen) Thomas Oppong-Peprah has paid a visit to the Naval Headquarters on Thursday 15 February, 2024. Lt Gen Oppong-Peprah, who assumed the prestigious role earlier this month was received by the Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS) Rear Admiral Issah Adam Yakubu, the Chief Staff Officer Commodore Prosper Modey and other Staff Officers. He expressed gratitude for the warm reception accorded him and thanked Officers, Ratings and Defence Civilian Staff for their support, well wishes and prayers. The CNS on his part, introduced his Staff Officers to the newly appointed CDS, congratulated and wished him well on behalf of personnel of the Ghana Navy. He assured the CDS of the unwavering support of the Ghana Navy. Members of the CDS’ entourage include the newly appointed Chief of Staff (COS) Major General JP Owusu, Deputy Chief of Staff (DCOS) in charge of Administration, Air Vice Marshal Michael Appiah-Agyekum, DCOS in charge of Policy and Plans, Major General DYA Nyarko and other Senior Officers at the General Headquarters.
