The Chief of Defence Staff Lieutenant General Thomas Oppong-Peprah has donated medical equipment to the Ghana Armed Forces Medical Services (GAFMS) at the General Headquarters on Thursday 20 June, 2024. The equipment includes 3 ultrasound machines, 2 chemistry autoanalysers, 2 haematology autoanalysers and 1 patient monitor. The CDS emphasized that the items would be distributed to some Medical Reception Stations in order to meet the medical demands of patients and hinted that a dialysis machine would be purchased in due course. He asked for the care and maintenance of the equipment in order to prolong its lifespan and efficiency.
