The Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS), Lieutenant General (Lt Gen) Thomas Oppong-Peprah and his entourage have commiserated with a former Minister for Defence and Interior, Dr Kwame Addo Kufour following the demise of his son, Kwame Addo Kufour Junior.

Lt Gen Oppong-Peprah on behalf of Officers, Soldiers and Defence Civilian Staff expressed his heartfelt condolence to the family and pledged the support of the Ghana Armed Forces for the family.

The late Kwame Addo-Kufuor Junior was a Ghanaian finance and mining executive who passed away on 28 November 2024.

He had a distinguished career, serving as the President of the Ghana Chamber of Mines and the first President of the General Assembly of the ECOWAS Federation of Chambers of Mines. He was also a successful businessman who held various leadership positions, including Director, Vice President of Corporate Affairs and Head of Finance for AngloGold Ashanti's West Africa Operations.
