The Army Recruits Training School (ARTS), Shai Hills, has organized an Inter-Company Cross-Country competition for recruits of Basic Infantry Training Course 2- 23 on Monday, October 30 2023. Addressing the recruits, the Commander Rear, Lieutenant Colonel (Lt Col) Frank Adams stated that physical fitness was not only essential to a healthy body, but also the basis for a dynamic and creative intellectual activity. He encouraged the recruits to endure the military training and keep fit at all times since it also helps to build the intellectual ability needed to find solution to the problems that may come their way. Lt Col Adams appreciated the Commanding Officer ARTS, Lt Col Issah and his team for their dedication and sacrifice to the school and in training recruits. At the end of a contest organized for eight hundred and thirty (830) recruits, Arakan Company was adjudged winners, followed by Uaddara Company and Kamina Company, respectively.
