The Special Adviser to the President on the Accra Initiative, Major General Adu- Amanfo (Rtd) has on Thursday 15 February, 2024 congratulated Lieutenant General Thomas Oppong-Peprah on his promotion and appointment as Chief of the Defence Staff. This comes at the back of a courtesy call on the CDS by the executives of the Accra Initiative which also led to the discussion of issues pertaining to Operation Koudangou. The CDS thanked them for the visit and promised to work together in order to ensure the safety and security of the nation. Chief Executive of the Accra Initiative, Mr Ben Dery and the Commander of the Multinational Joint Task Force, Operation Koudangou, Major General Michael Ayisi Amoah were part of the visiting delegation.
