The event was aimed to test troops on military and general knowledge while fostering a spirit of healthy competition and camaraderie among personnel. Participants drawn from the various companies within the unit were quizzed on Map Reading, Skill at Arms, Voice Procedure, General/Military Knowledge and Minor Tactics. After the keenly contested competition, Charlie Company emerged as the overall winner, followed by Bravo, Headquarters, Alpha and Support Companies in the order of merit. The Commanding Officer, Lieutenant Colonel Jerry Yao Ankuyi commended the personnel for their dedication and excellent display of knowledge. He emphasised the importance of maintaining high standards of discipline. 
The 6 Infantry Battalion has held a Pre-WASSA Inter-Company quiz competition at the Justice Opoku Hall in Kamina Barracks, Tamale on Friday 7 February 2025.
