The mortal remains of the Former First Lady, Madam Theresa Aba Kuffour has been received at the Kumasi International Airport by the 4 Infantry Battalion (4Bn) led by the Commander Rear, Major SK Dapaa and some close relatives. The body which was carried by the Air Force Casa MI17 landed at the Kumasi International Airport on Thursday, 16 November 2023. Libation was poured by some elders from the family of late former first lady, followed by a Christian prayer by the Catholic Metropolitan Archbishop of Kumasi, Most Reverend Gabriel Justice Anokye, followed by a cortege through some principal streets of Kumasi Metropolis and interred at Dabaa in the Atwima Nwabiagya District. Other dignitaries present at the Airport were the Ashanti Regional Minister, Hon Simon Osei-Mensah the General Officer Commanding (GOC) Central Command, Brigadier General Charles Agyemang-Prempeh and all Heads of Regional security members.
