Ultimate Charismatic Centre, located at East Legon, Accra, has donated assorted items to the Maternity and Paediatric wards of the 37 Military Hospital on Friday, 22 December 2023.
The items include packs of forehead thermometer, pulse oximeter, blood pressure monitor, boxes of examination gloves, boxes antiseptics, boxes floor cleaners, boxes liquid soap, cartons of parazone, packs of baby diapers, assorted baby dresses, packs of washing powder, bundles of toilet rolls, hospital size bed mattresses, boxes of SMA baby food, packs of Johnson Baby lotion and oil, packs of tommee tippee baby feeding bottles, refined shea butter, and packs of jumbo tissue.
An undisclosed amount of money was also donated to patients on admission at the pediatric and maternity wards to cover their medical bills.
Presenting the items to the Hospital, Mrs Lady Rosemond Prempeh, disclosed as part of her 40th birthday anniversary, the donation was made to put smiles on the faces of the children on admission who cannot celebrate the Christmas festivities with their colleagues and families at home.
Lady Prempeh expressed her compassion for children and mothers, especially those who cannot afford to pay their bills and appealed to other bodies to also come and support the facility. She congratulated all the health workers for their professionalism and ask that they continue with the good work.
The Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) 37 Military Hospital, Col Francisca Aba Amakyi received the items and thanked the them for the kind gesture.
