The Supply Application School (SAS) of the Naval Training Command (NAVTRAC), in collaboration with the Ho Technical University (HTU), has held its 7th Matriculation Ceremony on Wednesday, 17 September 2025 at Nutekpor.

In all, 97 students were enrolled into various programmes including Diploma in Procurement and Supply Management, Diploma in Secretaryship and Management Studies, Certificate in Procurement and Supply Management, and Certificate in Cook Steward.

The Flag Officer Commanding (FOC) NAVTRAC, Commodore James Adongo Agambire urged matriculants to build strong relationships with colleagues as such would serve as vital support systems throughout their studies.

Commodore Agambire encouraged personnel to actively engage in all academic and extracurricular activities to broaden their horizons and sharpen their skills.

The Vice Chancellor HTU, Professor Ben Quarshie Honyenuga stated that HTU is dedicated to equipping both students and naval personnel with the competencies needed to thrive in profession. He encouraged the students to remain resilient, manage their responsibilities thoughtfully and embrace teamwork as they balance academic pursuits with naval commitments.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between NAVTRAC and HTU was initiated in 2018 and formalized in June 2023 to facilitate the delivering of certificate programmes through the capacity-building of personnel.

Earlier, the Vice Chancellor HTU, Professor Honyenuga visited Commodore Agambire as part of efforts to deepen the collaboration between both institutions.
