The Army Combat Training School at Teshie has held a graduation ceremony for the Next Generation Military Orientation Course 1–2025 (JGCMOC 1–25) organized by the Jospong Group of Companies (JGC), on Friday, 3 October 2025. The four-week intensive training formed part of the ongoing partnership between the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) and JGC to strengthen leadership, discipline, and teamwork among the company’s next-generation executives. The collaboration began eight years ago with the maiden Corporate Young Executives Leadership Course One (CYELC–17). Speaking at the ceremony, the Guest of Honour, Executive Chairman of the JGC Dr Joseph Siaw Agyepong, highlighted that the Company has revolutionised Ghana’s sanitation sector restoring dignity to the industry, setting unmatched standards in integrated solid, medical, liquid, oil, and e-waste management, and creating thousands of jobs. He described Zoomlion as the leader in environmental sanitation solutions in Ghana with a focus on Africa, a continent with immense needs and vast opportunities. “The future we seek in Africa demands more than technical skills. It demands character, endurance when challenges arise, bravery when the odds are heavy, loyalty to a cause greater than self, and teamwork without boundaries,” he added. Dr Agyepong also expressed his appreciation to the Commander, Army Training Command, Brigadier General Joshua Amanor; the Commander, Army Combat Training School, Colonel Robert Narh and the Commanding Officer, Jungle Warfare School, Lieutenant Colonel Jacob Codjoe for their dedication in shaping the participants into disciplined and confident leaders. He expressed optimism that the trainees acquired essential values such as time management, mission command, cultural awareness, corporate diplomacy, endurance, teamwork and leadership excellence qualities for building resilient corporate leaders. The event climaxed with a colourful parade and drill display, showcasing the precision, coordination, and discipline instilled in the trainees throughout the course.
