The Guest of Honour, President of the National Defence University (NDU), Air Vice Marshal (AVM) Felix Adom Asante, advised the matriculants to be innovative and focused on their studies. He encouraged them to stay dedication so as to ensure their personal success and contribution to the global community. AVM Asante further explained that matriculation was not a mere ceremonial rite of passage but a call to excellence. He encouraged the students to approach their studies with commitment by carefully planning their academic activities, anticipate challenges and staying resilient in their studies. In his welcome address, the Acting Commandant of GAFCSC, Brigadier General (Brig Gen) Jackson Wonje, congratulated the matriculants and reminded them that their admission was both a privilege and a responsibility. He emphasised the need to uphold integrity and meet the high academic and moral standards of the College as part of their growth. Brig Gen Wonje further highlighted the importance of unity and teamwork, urging the students to remain steadfast in serving God and country. He reiterated that the legacy of GAFCSC was built on the shared values of sacrifice, integrity and service and encouraged the matriculants to embody these principles within and beyond the College. The Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College (GAFCSC) has held a joint matriculation ceremony for students of the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Regular Master of Science in Defence and International Politics (MDIP) and Master of Science in Security Studies (MSS) programmes on Wednesday, 1 October 2025 at Hamidu Hall, Otu Barracks.
