The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF), in collaboration with the British Army has commenced a 4-day Strategic Communication (StratCom) and Information Workshop at the Dohazari Auditorium, Defence Mechanical Transport Battalion, on Tuesday, 7 October 2025. The workshop aims to equip personnel with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively navigate the complex information landscape. The Acting Director General of Public Relations, Captain (Ghana Navy) Veronica Adzo Arhin, emphasised the importance of Strategic Communications in the digital era, noting the Ghana Armed Forces’ commitment to remain at the forefront of the evolution. She stressed the value of StratCom in military operations for effective communication, public opinion influence, international relationship building and countering disinformation, added that the workshop would equip personnel with proactive skills to anticipate challenges and opportunities to enhance organisational image and strengthen relationships with key audience in the digital age.
