The Director Supplies and Transport, Colonel (Col) Harry Keelson has paid a visit to the Base Supply Depot (BSD) at Burma Camp on Tuesday, 7 October 2025, to gain a deeper understanding of the depot’s overall mandate. During his interaction with personnel of the unit, Col Keelson outlined his vision to operationalise the 4 and 6 Movement Units and to establish a Supply Depot at the Navy Training Command (NAVTRAC) to facilitate the efficient transportation of ration and logistics support to that area of deployment. He commended the Commanding Officer (CO) and personnel urged them to maintain diligence, discipline, and professionalism in the discharge of their duties. The Commanding Officer, BSD, Lieutenant Colonel Isaac Awunigaten, expressed appreciation for the visit and highlighted the administrative oversight provided in the areas of logistics and welfare of personnel. He assured the Director of his team’s commitment to supporting his vision and ensuring the effective delivery of logistical support to the Ghana Armed Forces.
