The ceremony served as a moment of reflection and thanksgiving to God for His protection and guidance throughout their tour of duty in southern Lebanon. In his remarks, the Commanding Officer (CO), Lieutenant Colonel (Lt Col) Isaac Kobe Boako commended the troops for the professionalism demonstrated in their operational duties and conduct. He noted that their devotion to God had been a source of strength and unity for the Battalion, sustaining them through the challenges of peacekeeping. The Clergy encouraged personnel to remain steadfast in faith as they prepared to reunite with their families. The Ghanaian Battalion (GHANBATT 91) serving with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) has held its End of Tour Religious Parade on Sunday, 31 August 2025 at the Battalion Headquarters, Obeng Camp, Al Qawzah.
