The newly appointed Deputy Sector West Commander of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) Colonel Tom McGrath, has expressed confidence in the dedication and commitment of Ghanbatt when he paid a working visit to its Headquarters and positions on Thursday 4 January, 2024. He was welcomed with a smartly turned-out quarter guard , after which he had an interactive session where he was briefed on the duties as well as the area of responsibility of Ghanbatt. Colonel McGrath said he was highly impressed with the level of professionalism exhibited by the troops and urged them to remain loyal ambassadors, reminding them that their conduct in the operational area has a direct impact on the reputation of Ghana. He also reminded them make their families back home their number one priority in their plans and endeavors.
