REAR ADMIRAL ADU TAKES OVER AT TRADOC

The Ghana Armed Forces Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) has on Tuesday, 23 January 2024 held a guard of honour to officially welcome Rear Admiral Eric Adu to take over Command as the Commandant.

The ceremony which took place at the forecourt of TRADOC headquarters, Whistler barracks, Teshie had personnel drawn from the TRADOC formation as well as the Ghana Armed Forces Central Band.

Rear Admiral Adu takes over from Maj Gen Bismarck Kwasi Onwona. Until his appointment as the Commandant TRADOC, Rear Admiral Adu was the Ghana’s Military Attaché to the United Kingdom.

Dignitaries present at the ceremony were the Commandant Ghana Military Academy, Major General Charles Awitty, the Deputy Chief of Staff (Administration) at the General Headquarters, Air Vice-Marshal Mike Kwame Appiah-Agyekum, the Assistant Commandant (ASCOM) (Tri-Service Schools), Col Lloyd Atror and the Assistant Commandant (ASCOM) (Research and Doctrine), Col Nyanteh.

The rest were the G-CORD (TRADOC) Col Owusu Ansah, Director Land Doctrine (TRADOC) Col Ernest Nyuur, the Gender Policy Advisor (TRADOC) Col Osman Zeneidu, Commanding Officers of the various training schools, Officers, Men and Women and Defence Civilian Staff of the formation.
