At the parade, the Ghana Air Force, took over the mandate to provide three months continuous alertness and arms-length security from the Ghana Navy. The parade was conducted with 20 each of old and new guards either from the Army, Navy or Air Force with escort contingent, corps of drums and national and regimental colours under the command of a Captain or its equivalent. The President and Commander-in-Chief of the Ghana Armed Forces, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has witnessed the 40th guard changing parade at the Jubilee House on Monday 24 June, 2024.
The importance of the ceremony among other security measures was to ensure the availability and serviceability of all equipment at the Jubilee House.
