The 1981/83 Alumni of Prempeh College have on Thursday 8 February, 2024, congratulated Major General (Maj Gen) Thomas Oppong-Peprah on his appointment as Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS). The group expressed their excitement about the appointment of one their own as the CDS of the Ghana Armed Forces when they paid a courtesy call on him at his office at the General Headquarters in Burma Camp. Leader of the Group, Mr Asamoah Addo explained that the school has been very proud to have one of its own appointed to the high office of the CDS and further encouraged him to continue working hard to improve upon his already impressive leadership abilities. The alumni presented a plaque and a portrait him. CDS appreciated the alumni for their support and kind gesture. He acknowledged that their kind words of encouragement would inspire him to continue working diligently in his new appointment.
