The Leadership Training School (LTS), has held a graduation ceremony for Musicians Grade 1(MN1) Course 1/24 at Naval Base, Tema on Wednesday 4 December 2024.The three-month course enhanced the musical knowledge and instrument proficiency of the bandsmen. The graduation ceremony saw an impressive exhibition of musical talents, underscoring the dedication and effort invested by the course participants. In his address, the Guest of Honour, Command Operations Officer at the Eastern Naval Command, Captain (GN) Festus Osei-Brobbey, underscored the Ghana Navy Musical Band's commitment to excellence and professionalism within the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF).He advised the graduands to embody discipline, teamwork, and integrity within their respective units, utilizing their talents to inspire and represent the GAF. He commended the Commanding Officer, the Ghana Navy Band and instructors for their dedication and exceptional work which instilled in the graduands the values of teamwork and professional excellence. Captain Osei-Brobbey encouraged all personnel to exhibit professionalism, vigilance and diligence in fulfilling their security responsibilities, particularly in light of the forthcoming general elections. He called for collaboration with relevant stakeholders to ensure a safe and secure environment during the electoral process.Awards were presented for outstanding performance. Leading Seaman (LS) Brogyah Stephen, received the Overall Best Student Award in Regimental Band, while LS Yankson Silas received the Overall Best Student Award in Dance Band.
