The Commander Rear of the 1 Infantry Battalion (1BN), Lieutenant Colonel (Lt Col) Frank Adams, has held a meeting with the Defence Civilian Staff (DCS) of the Unit on Tuesday 8 October 2024. The meeting served as a platform for Lt Col Adams to acquaint himself with the newly employed staff and key appointment holders, while addressing concerns, issues, and challenges impacting their performance. Lt Col Adams expressed gratitude to the DCS for their dedicated efforts and emphasised the importance of discipline, respect, and professionalism, noting that discipline remains the cornerstone of the Ghana Armed Forces. He acknowledged the need to enhance communication channels to address staff concerns effectively and assured them of his commitment to improving their working environment by providing the necessary resources for the efficient execution of their duties.
