The Officer Commanding (OC), Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Military Intervention in The Gambia (ECOMIG) Ghana Company 7 (GHANCOY 7), Lieutenant Colonel (Lt Col) Kwesi Peprah has been inducted into Command. The induction service, themed “Success killers”, was held on Sunday, 25 June 2023 at a non-denominational Induction Religious Parade to commit the Lt Col Preprah and his troops to God for protection and successful leadership. The service was presided over by Captain NK Lambert. During his sermon, he indicated that although success is subjectively perceived by people from all walks of life, every success has a source, that is God. He explained that God often maintains success upwards. To that effect, ‘anything that destroys the link of a person with the source is a success killer and will destroy success with time’, he said. During the service, OC took the oath of allegiance while the troops who joined him at the non-denominational Induction Religious Parade vowed to serve obediently and remain loyal to his command.
