A religious induction church service has been held for Officer Cadets of Regular Career Course (RCC) Intake 63 on Sunday, 3 December 2023 at the Ghana Military Academy (GMA), Teshie. The Guest of Honour for the occasion, National Security Adviser to the President, Brigadier General Emmanuel Okyere (Rtd) in his address implored the Officer Cadets to be determined to succeed although the training in the academy has been vigorous and challenging. He further encouraged them to remember the power of faith, and good counsel throughout their training and military career. During the service, the Director Religious Affairs (Army Headquarters), Colonel Paul Doudu preached on the theme “You are highly favoured” and urged the Officer Cadets to be ready and willing to defend the territories of the country. He also charged them to seek the wisdom and knowledge of God in their daily prayers. The Imam of the 37 Military Hospital, Captain Shamsudeen Salifu in his exhortation entreated the Officer Cadets to adhere to orders given by their superiors.
