A three-member delegation from the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC), led by Dr Osei Kuffour, has held a conference with the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College (GAFCSC) on Wednesday 11 September 2024 at Teshie. The conference aimed to evaluate the readiness of the GAFCSC junior division for diploma accreditation. The Dean of GAFCSC, Vladimir Antwi Danso, stated that the programme is designed to equip both professional soldiers and civilians with the skills and knowledge necessary for command and leadership roles. He emphasised that the program is not limited to soldiers but also extends to civil institutions within the security sector. In his remarks, Dr Osei Kuffour commended GAFCSC and its team for their remarkable work and programmes, such as Defence and Security Studies. He urged institutions seeking accreditation to recognise the programme's value and prioritise enrolment.
