The General Officer Commanding (GOC) Central Command, Brigadier General Opoku has on Friday 28 June 2024 commissioned accommodation facility at 3 Infantry Battalion (3Bn) in Sunyani. The edifice comprises of 3-storey building which has 16-unit accommodation, that would house 16 personnel, and a 16-single unit building which would also accommodate 16 personnel. A similar project is also completed at the 154 Armour Regiment in Sunyani GOC urged personnel of the unit to practice maintenance culture in order to keep the edifice in good order. He was very grateful to the Government of Ghana and said these buildings would go a long way to curb the accommodation challenges facing of the Command.
