GAFTAG donates equipment to the Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Technical Training School

In a gesture of solidarity, the German Armed Forces Technical Advisory Group (GAFTAG) has donated equipment to the Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Technical Training School (EMETTS) in Burma Camp on Tuesday 30 April, 2024.

The equipment includes 12-volt battery charger, transmission jerk, waste oil drains, 2-ton folding shop crane and awheel balancer,

Speaking at the event, Head of the German Armed Forces Technical Programme, Lieutenant Colonel Andreas Heselschewerdt, emphasised the commitment of the group to support local communities and foster a culture of collaboration and growth.

“At GAFTAG, we believe in the power of technology to transform lives and communities. Through initiatives like this, we aim to empower individuals and organizations to realize their full potential and contribute to a brighter future for everyone”, he added.

Receiving the items, the Head of GAFTAG projects at EMETTS, Col Henry Kwasi Ndits thanked the German delegation for their benevolence. He mentioned that the equipment will be put to effective use in line with the agreement signed between GAFTAG and the Ghana Armed Forces.
