The Ghana Armed Forces Public Relations Institute (GAFPRI) has held a closing ceremony for Basic Photography Course 1-24 on Wednesday 24 July, 2024. In all 51 students drawn from the various units of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) graduated with certificates in Photography. They were taken through newswriting, editing, new media, still photo production, and motion picture production. The Director General Department of Public Relations, Brigadier General Eric Aggrey-Quashie delivering the keynote address, commended the graduands for their hard work and dedication, emphasizing the importance of photojournalism in the military. He indicated that photography ensures the GAF documents and archives military information and groundbreaking activities, essential for the growth of the military. The Chief Instructor WOI Atitson Emmanuel in his remarks, appreciated the graduands on their achievement and encouraged them to apply their knowledge and skills in their respective units.
